Although we do help artists to develop funding applications and proposals as part of their professional development with us, arcadea is not a funding body. We do not have a remit from any of our funders to distribute funds. It is also important to note that our support on funding applications is not a guarantee of success.
This page gives funding information and signposts a number of resources and resource organisations who support artists.
Funding
Fundraising is part and parcel of arts activity, whether you’re applying as an individual or as part of a group.
The expectations of funders are extremely high and it is advisable to read all guidelines and criteria provided by each funder. As all funders have individual funding criteria, it’s not a case of simply writing one application and sending it out to several funders.
Each application must be specific to the funder being applied to.
Arcadea provides funding advice to artists who are part of our programmes. We also have funderfinder software in our Information Resource Area which you can book to use. Please contact us to find out more.
